Aligarh Muslim University centre, Kerala

About the centre-

Aligarh Muslim university centre, Kerala is established in 2010. It is located in the educationally and socially backward, Muslim-majority Malappuram district of Kerala.

The classes of the first batch (at this centre)  were started on 28.02.2011 for the first time in a rented building ( Al-Hazmi building, Pattambi road, Perinthalmanna). Now the campus has its own building and the campus is sifted from Pattambi road to chelamala road,  Cherukara.

The centre earlier offers two academic programmes B.A.LL.B( hons.) and M.B.A and then added one more course i.e. B.ED.

DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION:
Department of business administration is doing very well. Placement of students is also very high. Student of this department regularly does  various assignment and department conducts many programmes as training and placement cell workshops every year.

DEPARTMENT OF LAW:

Law department of this center is considered batter than any other centre of A.M.U. Department of Law conducts many programmes for the students ( essay writing, debate, speech, Parliamentry debate, skit and moot Court competitions) every year. For the personality development and for conducting all the programs mentioned above , there is a Law society which also conducted a successful Moot Court competition on 4th October, 2017.

Other Merits of the centre:

A very good library which contains a large number of books.  A proposal to add this library directly with the Maulana Azad library is also under consideration.

Very good and green environment, best for studies and helps students in their studies.
